🇺🇸 Republican Uses Trump’s “Lowlife” Insult to Raise Campaign Funds
In a political clash that made headlines, President Donald Trump called Republican Congressman Thomas Massie a “lowlife” on Christmas Day after Massie co-authored the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bill calling for the full release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Trump called the bill a “scam” on his Truth Social account.
Instead of retreating, Massie shared the insult on his X account and turned it into a campaign opportunity, writing:
“Imagine celebrating a blessed Christmas with your family … suddenly phones alert everyone to the most powerful man in the world attacking you … for fulfilling his campaign promise to help victims!”
Massie included a link to his campaign donation page, and within hours, more than 40 donors contributed nearly $3,000 to his reelection effort.
This incident underscores growing divisions within the Republican Party as the 2026 midterm elections approach, with Trump’s leadership drawing mixed reactions.
